The port Pyungtack wharf with three berths, each accommodating 30,000 d/w ton vessel, was constructed in 1997. Operation The government began to build the general wharf at Pyeongtaek (Asan) Port in 1989 with 283 billion won and completed it at the end of 1997. According to the government's basic operation plans for Pyeongtaek Port, the industrial complex has the management and operation rights. 2. Operating company Various companies have been operating the wharf and at present, a consortium has been formed centering on Korea Express Co., Ltd. for the efficient operation of the wharf. - Operating company: Pyeongtaek Port Inc. ?
